Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test
The Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for admission to various undergraduate courses in the state of Maharashtra. The exam is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, and is mainly for admission to degree courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agriculture. Earlier, the test scores were also used for admissions to medical degree courses
The MHT-CET is a state-level test, and the exam consists of multiple-choice questions. The syllabus for the exam is based on the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The exam is conducted in offline mode, and candidates who qualify the exam are called for counseling and seat allotment.
The registration process for the MHT-CET usually starts in March, and the exam is conducted in May every year. Candidates can apply online through the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The exam is highly competitive, and candidates are advised to prepare well by using recommended study materials and practicing previous year question papers
